Founded way back in 2006 when 3 childhood friends decided to buy double bass, guitar and drums. They split the roles, invited another guy in the band and voilà Joe and the rhythm boys were born. They decided to play rockabilly in a 50’s southern way like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Feathers, Wanda Jackson, Johnny Horton…
They need few years to catch good sound and enough songs so they could started with gigs.
After a while they saw a chance in inviting a female in a band and splitting vocals with Joe. Harmonies were perfect, chemistry between all the band members was perfect and soon Sara aka Stacey joined the band…She sings like Wanda Jackson and plays piano like Jerry Lee came just like a cherry on top and so band is now called Joe and the rhythm boys with Stacey. Almost at the same time (2017) to the combo was joined a new and actual guitar picker.
Behind them is around 200 gigs in Slovenia and all neighboring countries.
They went to studio and recorded some material for ep-record, two own and two 50’s cover songs.
